Cherry Grove Plant Exchange

Cherry Grove Outdoor Rink – 10am-1pm – June 4, 2022

Please fill out this form to participate:

A plant exchange is exactly what it sounds like—a forum for swapping out plants with fellow gardeners. A plant exchange allows gardeners in the community to come together and share seeds, cuttings, and transplants from their own indoor and outdoor gardens to swap with others.

We will also have:

**James Kirstein, a local retired Registered Professional Forrester on hand to answer your questions about trees, pests, diseases, and secrets to success in the area!
**Giveaways of trees
**Raffle prize!
**Cash refreshments!

Our rules are simple – make sure your plants are healthy and have been well cared for – bring a pest-free, beautiful plant, or two or three for trade; they can be potted or bare root. It is also customary that you take no more plants home than you bring to the swap.

Please make sure you label your plants. You are welcome to bring both indoor and outdoor plants as it is the beginning of the growing season – a perfect chance to share those perennials!

We do not accept plants designated as noxious or prohibited noxious. Here is a partial list of Noxious and Prohibited Noxious plants in Alberta; for a complete list see the fact sheets at
